Modest Mouse

Could it be that Byron and I have a daughter who is modest? Oh who am I kidding? This child loves to be bare bottom just like Nat did/does. One of her favorites things: laying on her changing table, clothing optional.

At least she is crossing her legs :)

I went in later yesterday afternoon to wake her so we could pick up Natalie and I could have sworn she was sucking her thumb but I really couldn't see. Lucky for me my camera has an awesome zoom, and I was wrong! She was just saying her prayers, sleeping peacefully, without her thumb.

Looking Alot Like Christmas

At least in Nat's room. She was surprised to see a box in front of her room when she got home from school on Monday. She just couldn't wait to eat dinner and put Harper to bed so we could put her "Christmas" together.

I think we may be starting a tradition of decorating trees in just our undies. Only down South could we pull this off since it was almost 70 yesterday.

Christmas 2011 & Christmas 2012

Gotta get that star at the top, she still needed a little help reaching the top, but probably won't next year.

She was so happy she gave the tree a hug!

Oh and our elf is back. Funny little thing rode in on Barbies's convertible.

Happy Thanksgiving

The one and only picture taken over the crazy holiday was with Aunt Amy's phone.

It was your typical chaotic, rush here, dash there holiday with all our families, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Lazy Sunday

Sometimes you just need a day in your pjs and that's just what these two did all day. If I had to guess they will be thick as thieves before we know it.

Yes that's my almost 4 year old in a bumbo seat. It fits her like a glove :)

I have no idea what they are watching, probably Mickey Mouse, but they both were entranced.
Natalie just loves curling up in Harper's bed. Matter of fact, she almost fell asleep in there at one point. We had to kick her out so Harper could take a nap. Silly girls.

Wordless Wednesday

Let the Fun & Feeding BEGIN!

I'm pretty sure Natalie has been looking forward to this day more than anyone. Although I had to assure her many times it was ok for Harper to eat cereal without any teeth. I also repeat this is the ONLY thing we feed or put in Harper's mouth and mommy has to be around when she does it. You just never know with her :)

Monday we mixed up some oatmeal, put Harper in her chair and let Nat have at it. She lasted maybe through two spoonfuls before she said "this stinks momma, you do it." She doesn't like the smell of it, probably because it's mixed with formula. I'm sure she'll want to try again when we move on to avocados, sweet potatoes and all the other fun foods.

Harper loves it and, surprisingly, makes very little mess. I swear sometimes during the day she smacks her lips like she wants more than just a bottle, but we are sticking to only 1, maybe 2 times a day for now.

4 Months Old

So I'm a little late on this post, we've been busy :) Harper had her 4 month well visit and shots back on the 6th. She was almost 14 lbs and 25 inches long. We got the go ahead to start cereal if we wanted, more on that in my next post. We had her legs checked out and everything is good on that front as well. The doctor thinks once she is more mobile and her muscles have the opportunity to stretch out she will no longer have "frog" legs.

Natalie almost 4, Harper 4 months
My BIG helper. She insist that I take a picture anytime she holds, feeds or lays with Harper.
