Tribute to Big Daddy

So for any of you who know my Dad, you know he always wears his socks pulled all the way up to his knees. Well, here's Nat, during the UK game, with her socks up to her knees just like Big Daddy.

We had a really nice weekend. Saturday's weather was beautiful. We played with neighbors, went to the park and got some yard work done. I think I even got a little sun on my cheeks.

Nat's been a little fussy all week and not sleeping well. I have a feeling some more teeth are coming in. I really hate not knowing what's wrong with her, but at least she's in good spirits during the day. She even snuggled up with Mulligan to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Saturday morning.

1 Year Pictures

These took forever to get back, but I'm pleased with how they turned out.

SNOW DAY!

Snow, not once but twice in MS? Who would have thought it? We'll believe it because we woke up to about 4 inches this morning and we got about 1-2 more inches by lunch time. I'm pretty sure Byron and I were more excited than Natalie, but we had to go out and play in it. She was a little better than last time, but didn't really like stepping on the snow and not seeing her feet.

Bogey LOVED it this time. He dug up toys burried in the snow and ran around like a maniac. Mulligan did ok. He mostly tried to eat it.

Layering up for the Big Snow Snorm of 2010. Doesn't she look thrilled?

Of course she's going to try it.

Our Halftime Entertainment

We had a nice quiet weekend with Vann and Sue. Byron and Vann installed the base/cabinet they made for Byron's Big Green Egg. It looks AWESOME, and he now has a place to store all those accessories that had been taking up residence in my cabinets.

We didn't go out to any Super Bowl party, but we had our own halftime show. These are pics of Byron rubbing Nat's head with her fuzzy blanket. She got the biggest kick out of this...

See she does have hair!

I'm also trying to get her on tape dancing. It's a hilarious little mix between bobbing her head/shoulders up and down and doing a little Charlie Brown stutter step.

Nat's Little Buddha Belly

Ok, I know Nat's skinny and that's fine but her appetitie has really kicked in now that her teeth have come through. For dinner she had ham, steammed veggies, some goldfish (while the veggies were cooking), THEN ate from my plate of pork tenderloin, corn and sweet potatoe fries, THEN polished off a glass of milk and some of my dessert. It'll be interesting to see what she weighs at her 15 month appointment.

And here's proof. Didn't seem to bother her. I would have been miserable but she ran around and played like normal.

And I just threw this one in for the heck of it. She loves Mulligan too.

Show Me Your MEAN Face

This is what Byron has been teaching our child lately. The pictures don't do it justice because I can't capture just the "right" moment. She tries hard not to laugh but she just can't help herself.

So I tried to capture it on video. She was so entertaining all weekend.
