Christmas Review

I'm totally going to photo dump all our Christmas pictures in this post. Naturally we drove to KY to spend Christmas with all the family. We even drove up the day after to visit with Byron's grandmother. She had never met Harper and Natalie was just barely walking the last time we were up there.

Gingerbread Houses

I decided on a whim to grab a gingerbread house kit from Joann's one day. It came with 4 little houses and I thought it was something the girls might enjoy. And they did for the most part.

I didn't realize (or read the directions) that the icing had to set for at least 2 hours. We took a break to enjoy the weather outside but after about an hour I was like screw let's decorate these things.

They could not have decorated them more differently. I'm sure you can guess who's was symmetrical and perfect and who was just slingin' some sprinkles on top and eating most of her gumdrops :) And I know some of that has to do with age but I have a slight feeling it's very much their personalities.

By FAR Harper's favorite part...squirting all the icing in her mouth once we were done.

Christmas Time Again

Our Elf was a little late to the party. He had to stay around and wish Big Big a happy birthday before he came on down to Mississippi. But once Buddy showed up, we were full on decorating mode.

First up, the girls trees. They each got their own new one this year.

My TinkPrincessSuperHero

AKA Harper. This child loves to mess up all my fleece fabric. Heaven forbid she just stick to the giant box of scraps her and Natalie have.

She started with an old Tink costume. Then she pulled out scrap pieces and would say "momma I need this here". So she ended up with a cape, bib, and belt. Then she "reorganized" my fleece I had pulled out for projects.

Gotta.Love.Her.
