Who Needs Fancy Toys?

Not Natalie...Yesterday she spent the better part of 30 minutes playing with an empty pudding cup and spoon. She loves to carry around one of Byron's big plastic bowls and last night she pretended to be a dog, crawling around with her dog towel. She just so goofy sometimes.

We started out playing peek-a-boo.

She tried to walk with it on but it's really long. So she began to crawl towards me giggling underneath it.

New Bath Toys

Natalie has been needing some new, real, bath toys for a while now. She's kinda outgrown the simple squirt toys and she learned how to pop the top on my shampoo bottles. Luckily Nana got her a tug boat for her birthday and she got some foam letters back at Christmas. Now I need to find something to hold all of them!

Just Your Average Saturday Night

We haven't done to much lately since the birthday party except try and find room for all her new toys. We did manage to install the cabinet locks in the kitchen and scoop the yard. Now Natalie can play outside without stepping on any land-mines :)

We did watch UK become the #1 TEAM IN THE NATION Saturday before grilling and playing outside. I had my camera on the night setting, so these are sort of funny looking. Nat's now trying to step up and down off our patio. It's by no means a huge step but I guess it is to her. She was so proud of herself after doing it once that she kept at it for about 5 minutes non stop.

Hanging with her boys. Who knows what they are all looking at??

She now like to use Bogey as a pillow, or a wrestling partner.

And she's still obsessed with climbing in boxes.

Let's Eat Some CAKE

Natalie started out a little slow when it came to smashing her cake. I don't think she cared for the icing on her hands at first, so she dove into it head first, no hands. And the rest is history...

What's this sticky stuff?

Here we go...

This isn't so bad.

This is her "Step away from my cupcake" look :)

She had it up her nose, in hair. Mom even found some in her diaper later.

Sharing with mommy.

Too busy to look up for a picture.

Angie, Nat, Nan & Granddaddy

PaPaw, Nat & Nana

Big Daddy, Nat & Grammie. (She'd just about had enough)

This is about the time Grammie knocked the cake in the floor,
and Natalie was like "What did you do that for?"

Uncle Nate sneaking in a hug.

Cleaned up, showing off her new UK hat from Aunt Rosie.
Notice her cheeks are still stained pink.

And she loves Danny. She gave him kisses anytime he asked for them.

Playing with Big Daddy and her My Pal Violet.

Pooped and ready to call it night.

Thanks for everyone who came in and helped make Natalie's first birthday special.

It's P-A-R-T-Y Time

Saturday we headed down to the lodge to celebrate Natalie's first birthday. I decorated the lodge with as much pink and brown as I could find :) Just about everyone was able to make and I was pretty pleased with how everything turned out. She got a ton of new toys, clothes and even some money to save for a rainy day.

Nat's very own, extra large, cupcake.

The birthday girl waiting for the party to start.

Who's this one from?

Kaitlyn helping Natalie out.

One of her favorites...

She was content with just her dog. I guess we should have saved it for last.
